Our Buy a Gift for Kenya scheme had a wonderful first Christmas in December 2005 with more than £2,700 given for purchases across the whole range of gifts in our catalogue: from small articles like watering cans, through significant contributions of various items for orphans, to a family purchasing a pair of ploughing bulls and plough.

White heifer

Schools and groups in the UK joined in the spirit of not spending money on Christmas cards to send to one another, instead pooling the money they would have spent and choosing a Gift for Kenya.

To all the donors, large and small, we can only express the gratitude and appreciation of the many widows and orphans who are benefiting from your generosity of spirit shown at this time.

Myles family
Here is the Myles family who donated a pair of ploughing bulls: parents John and Lyn with children Emily, Daniel and Toby.

Thanks again to all who made this a Christmas to remember.
